Killer Tofu

Giuliana "Jewels" DePietro is a musician, entrepreneur, comic book writer, and hairstylist with a lifelong passion for the arts. She began studying music as a child and went on to attend the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in New York City and Five Towns College, where she majored in Vocal Performance.

Since the age of 14, Jewels has performed in bands spanning a wide range of genres, touring and recording multiple albums. Her diverse artistic background also includes numerous theater productions, further showcasing her versatility as a performer and storyteller.

Expanding her creative talents into the world of comics, Jewels is currently bringing her first comic book series, Killer Tofu, to life. Five books in the series have already been completed and are currently in production with artists. The first installment is scheduled for publication this year, with four additional books set to follow.

In addition to her work in entertainment, Jewels is the owner of Do or Dye, a 100% vegan, punk rock Aveda salon with locations in Queens and Westchester, New York. With more than 23 years of experience as a hairstylist, she has built a reputation for creativity, authenticity, and dedication to cruelty-free beauty.

Whether on stage, behind the salon chair, or crafting new worlds through comics, Jewels continues to channel her artistic vision into every project she pursues.
